"How do we see and understand
the worth of our work?"

Logo 1.png

The concept for Bridging The Pedagogical Gap started with the question above; How do we see and understand the worth of our work? My intent, to create a forum where teaching artists can demonstrate their work through linking it to pedagogy. Giving teaching artists somewhere to reflect, discuss practice and engage with research.

Noticing Listening Giving

HI! MY NAME IS LOU

As a teaching artist much of my time is spent in ‘Workshops’ or building towards my next project. As an artist, developing and delivering relevant theory is my passion and main aim. However, as a teacher this leaves me little time to reflect, evaluate and measure my attainments. I am also a dyslexic neurodivergent artist who finds being taught by others the most practical way to gain skills, knowledge and understanding.

The concept for Bridging The Pedagogical Gap started with the question above; How do we see and understand the worth of our work? My intent, to create a forum where teaching artists can demonstrate their work through linking it to pedagogy.
